The NCT has two branches in Edinburgh; Edinburgh South & Edinburgh North. When you join the NCT, you will automatically become a member of the appropriate branch according to the area of the city that you live in.

Each of the two branches runs its own fundraising, postnatal groups and social events. There are outings to places children love, such as Deep Sea World and Edinburgh Zoo, and talks are held on a wide range of pregnancy and parenting topics, such as speech development, toddler food, potty training, first aid for parents, and the use of alternative medicine in pregnancy. Each branch produces a regular newsletter which includes details of all these groups and activities.

In addition, local branches join forces to provide the popular NCT antenatal classes, postnatal discussion courses and breastfeeding counselling.
